IRL meetups?

If you want to get together in your area to talk about Sandman on the weekend, this is the place to begin organizing!

I'll be involved in organizing meetups at ECCC and SDCC, so if you want to attend one of those, email me: marian at mariancall.com. Put "Sandman Meetup" in the subject line.

    I live in Michigan, and don't have a significant amount of money, so the best I could do as far as cons go would be Motor City Comic Con or maybe Wizard World Chicago.

    If anyone else in the group would be able to go to those, I'd like to meet people!

    I'll be at Anime Conji in San Diego on the Friday and late Sunday,at Wondercon in Anaheim on that Saturday. I also Secured my 4day+preview night Badges for San Diego Comic-Con if anyone wants to meet up.

    I noticed that there are a few of us in the Midwest. Even though it'll only be a handful of us, do you guys want to try to set something up for Motor City Comic Con or Wizard World Chicago?

    I may be going to Chicago's C2E2; Wizard World Chicago is less likely for me... but meeting up outside the con during that weekend might be doable.

    Ginger, I actually was somehow unaware of C2E2. I don't know if I'll have the money to afford both a con pass and a hotel stay by the end of April, but I'll definitely be able to make it over to Chicago sometime.

    We'll figure something out.

    If anyone will be attending CCEE (Calgary) and wants to meet and babble in April, let me know. I think I will have a few hours off from playing booth brat each day.

    Totz_the_Plaid - C2E2 is a newer convention with a stronger comics focus than the current iteration of Wizard World. I went last year, and I had a blast. But I can probably make it to the Rosemont area during Wizard World weekend to meet people even if I don't actually attend.
